We arrived in London to sunny weather and had a great day walking around town. Saw the Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park, and more. Arrived in poland to rain and got soaked looking for a hotel room at 11pm. Np umbrella or poncho. Oops. Our friend did not come through who we were supposed to stay with in Krakow, but fortunately a nice taxi driver took us to several places until one had a room available. In Krakow, we have been wandering around castles, churches, and eating goulash, stuffed cabbage, polish sausage, and potatoes. Mmmmm... Paul is not vegetarian anymore. In a cute mountain resort town in the south now and going hiking tomorrrow in the Tatras Mountains. It's chilly up here. Will move on to Slovakia on Wed.

It was great to learn of your safe arrival in London and Krakow...By the time you read this you will have completed your hike of the famous Tatras Mountains, carved out by four glaciations creating incredible cirques and lakes. It must be beautiful! Keep us posted of your tarvels and know that you are in our prayers and thoughts.
