Elephant Blessings in Pondicherry

On Monday, we both were blessed by an elephant wearing silver anklets and gold bells outside the Ganesh Temple (Elephant God). For 10 rupees ($0.25), the elephant gently taps your head with his trunk and you are blessed! So amazing!
Pondicherry is a French colonial city on the southeast coast of India with wide leafy boulevards, colonial mansions (we stayed in one- Hotel Qualithe), spacious parks, 2km seafront promenade, and several French cafes. We enjoyed croissants, lemon crepes, cappuccino, fish provencal, filet mignon in white wine sauce, and lots of delicious French food in Pondicherry! Le Terrasse and Sastanga Restaurants are pictured below. If you know how much I love food, then you know I was in heaven here! No more Indian curry and rice for me today...
