Dharamsala, home of His Holiness the Dali Lama


We spent 10 days largely in silence at Tushita's Meditation Center at the base of the Himalayas. The area felt spiritual and was in a lovely spot in the forest at the top of the hill in McCloud Gange. A Buddhist Nun, Deike, gave lectures about Buddhism in the Mahayana Tradition and we had the occasion to think deeply about life, death, karma, and the life of the Buddha. We are considering signing up! Paul lead a yoga class each day at 11am before lunch. The meditation sessions were difficult at first, but Dana helped us learn the techniques and we have been meditating every morning! Om.......
