After Krakow seeing castles, eating goulash, and doing a vodka tasting with fun people on sat night, we headed for a ride in the country. Lots of sheep, cattle, and farmland down south. On Sept. 11 we went to the polish alps to a town called Zakopane. Snowcapped mountains and lots to do, but it rained everyday so we couldnt go hiking. We just drank hot tea, hot wine (mead), hot beer, and shopped in this adorable ski resort town where all the architecture was like the photo you see here. Next we went to Bratislava, Slovakia (1 day) where the sunshined. Small capital city with lots of charm.
