Alanya- Eastern Mediterranean of Turkey

Alanya is a large, beautiful seaside resort town full of german and scandinavian tourists. One day we hiked down the Seljuk Fortress hill on a trail that has been there since 4AD (passing mosques, cisterns, churches, and Ottaman style houses). You can see the Red Tower in the left photo and we are on Cleopatra Beach. After we went for a sunset walk and encountered a camel! The Turkish guy said he wanted to trade his camel for me!!! Paul said, 'Only for 3 camels...'
