Side- Western Mediterranean of Turkey

This is 'us' at the Manavgat Waterfall. Later in Side we layed out at the beach, played volleyball, and watched the sunset over the Temples of Athena and Apollo. These were built in 600 BC and there are ruins all over the place. Many were rebuilt and added onto from the Greek pirates and slaves. That night we sat on our balcony and tried the nargileh- traditional turkish water pipe filled with apple flavored tobacco. At 11pm we went dancing with the locals. So much fun! Side was perfect- a small village on the beach with ruins, and 5 star service at our Cicek Pansion from Ali Baba and Aron.
