The above are pictures of St.Johns Basilica where the Apostle John came with the Virgin Mary to write his gospel of the New Testament. This is also where Paul wrote his 1st letter to the Corinthians in the Bible. What a cool feeling to be here since we both grew up learning about their teachings at church. Below is Paul at the tomb of John and to the right is a carving of Artemis 1st AD* first called Cybele* goddess of fertility. Then she was renamed Artemis during Hellenistic times and Romans later called her Diana. We also visited the Temple of Artemis trying to get some good luck with fertility for next year!
