Bru - n. A close friend or unrelated brother as in, "I promise you, Bru!" (think Blood Diamond)
Lekker - adj. Cool as the other side of the pillow. (pronounced Lekkuh)

Hi from Copacabana, NYE was awesome, 2 million people and 8 cruise ships gathered for the spectacle. I am in Curitiba heading for Florianopolis, back to Rio Jan 22 for 2 weeks for Carnival. Happy new year to both of you. David
