We travelled to Plettenberg Bay with Dirk and Karen, Lorraine's Nephew and Niece-in-law in a sweet new BMW then ran around in Giselle's mercedes convertible. Needless to say, we felt like rockstars! Plett is known as the "Jewel of the Garden Route" and famous for being a top holiday destination in SA. We hiked from one side to the other and watched the kite surfers pictured below in the Indian Ocean. We ran along the Piesang River, Beacon Isle, and back to Central Beach. Plett is so charming and beautiful with the Tsitsikamma Mountains as a backdrop to these beaches. Lunch at Cornuti was a delicious way to end our 5-star trip and as we set off on a bus to Jefferey's Bay- a world famous surfspot (SuperTubes Break).
