Clarens is the cutest little town in the Free State. It's full of art galleries, limestone homes, good restaurants, a golf estate course, and trout fishing. Prince Harry and Brad Pitt both stayed here. We bought watermellon from a local fruit stand and picked apples from the tree at our hotel. The climate is like Washington and we ended our morning run with a mocha cappuccino. We drove through the Golden Gate National Forest there and saw springbok, zebra, blesbok, and wildabeest pictured below.
