Kaş and Kekova İsland

Sea kayaking in the crystal clear bay for an hour and then resting at Kekova İsland was fun! There were goats, donkeys, and ruins... however the most amazing thing was the underwater city. There was an earthquake in 280 AD and the ancient city of Simena sunk 6 meters below and we could see the Byzantine ruins (ex: city wall, staircases, foundations of buildings, etc.). Very cool! After an hour more of kayaking, İ was tired, so Paul took over and got us in. He says he was paddling for the Queen of Sheba. For dinner we shared 'mezes' which are like tapas style. Peppers, hummus, fish, veggie casserole, garlic yoghurt, calamari, etc... and of course a bottle of rakı- licorice flavored Turkish liquor made from grapes.
